This one is kind of inspired by Nox's last picture. I wanted to do my scribbly style like old times, except this time I went more realistic. I'll most likely go back in and fill it in a bit more, but for the most part it's done.

Edit: Yes the bra is uneven. XD I was too lazy to fix it. But when I got back I'll fix it...if I feel less lazy. Haha.

Firstly: Sorry I've been so absent for most of the year. I'd love to post more and take a more active role in critting and admin. Lately I've been here but it's largely been a form of procrastination from other (Uni) projects, heh.

Secondly, I've upped the picture storage from 500 pics to 3000. That will take a LONG time to fill a loop. Happy Xmas board.

Timer not entirely accurate, I must've left it unmanned for at least three of the 24 hours.

Partly experimenting with different techniques (complimentary colours in the skin tones, etc) and.. otherwise just going mad on details.

Obviously, full view please.

And I don't normally archive my own pics but I don't want to lose the animation, whiiich.. You might want to make a cup of tea or something if you're going to watch it. :lol:

(not 100% convinced this is totally complete, I might add/mod things soon..)

The background is so amazingly beautiful. I love those colors of sunsets, I'm a nature freak, so I can just stare at them forever. And the crazy detail you put into the wood and stuff...gorgeous. I wish I had the patience to do that...I don't. I have the patience of a 2 day old puppy.

Miss Jiffy: Patience is good but by the end of a really long pic I usually don't like it as much as I should. Main motivator for continuing once I start stuff like this is the fact I have so many unfinished pics (not oekakis).. So I have to do it pretty much in one go when possible. >.< Glad you like, and yeah i like her boobs too. Hehe.

Queenfish.. I'm glad you commented on colour balance because other than the sunset I don't think I put a lot of thought into it. I hope I've got a "feel" for stuff like that now, so I love feedback like that! I just tend to pick colours for each object without any concious thought for the overall composition, just "what looks right" so.. Thanks.

The planks and the wall behind her are my favourite parts, they came together much better than I was hoping, and I'l use the same technique a lot in future.

My semester is over! I am so happy! NO MORE AP STUDIO GAIZ! XD Ugh that class was so much work...glad I took it though, got lots of pieces now.

Nozomu and Hikaru...after neglecting them for some time. D: Nozomu likes kitties and cute things. Hikaru thinks they are disgusting. Someone gave them a cat for Christmas. He thinks it's the best thing ever and Hikaru is about to spazz out.

So I guess it could suit BOTH themes!

Or something...

It's a quickie...so it's not that good. But I needed something SORT OF Christmasy. Haha and pardon the ugliness of my cat. I can't draw animals worth a piece of doody.

I really love the kitten design! It's not a generic manga kitten, it's a sorta super cute blob-kitten instead. Which wins!

The tones are great (the underlighting is really interesting) though the green/red dress strobes like crazy on my screen for some reason lol.

Edit: Alright, I moved the collar bone up a bit...so the boobage looks less...gravity defying. XD I think anyways.

Okay...wow...I started this picture and I accidentally exited the window and got soooo upset cause I lost it. Sooo after taking a few deep breaths I went back and started over, and it actually turned out better than the first. XD

I'll probably go in and fix the eyes, darken the whites a bit more to make it more natural, otherwise I'm pleased with it. I love coloring dark skin lately. XD Hahaha...crazy I know, but I love dark skin. I wish I was black...tehehe. Sorry for the crappy background...green looked the best though. Lalala. Enjoy. All done with pencil and tones...that's all I ever use actually. I need to expand I think. Also, timer might be a bit off, since I had to help my mom find a book...but not off by much I think.

Ugh I got disgusted in my shading and gave up.

So I leave it open for you guys to shade. Just do not post it anywhere else but here if you do. And LEAVE MY SIG ON THERE. Or I'll eat you and your unborn children...or born children...and your pets and honeys. Yes.

Hahaha and keep the colors of their skin eyes and hair those colors...just shade them...or else they won't be the same! TADAH

I might end up shading it...I dunno yet...but yes...feel free to shade...just follow my regulations. Oh yes.

Haha and two hours? Nahhh...took a shower and stuff...and talked to people on aim. Hah...no two hours. I hardly spend that much time on oekakis.

Is this what you would call mature??? I dunno... Uhh... Well... I wanted to draw something that said "beauty isn't always skinny model types" I wanted her to be beautiful and full. Kind of like those girls in them old paintings of angels and stuff. I wanted her to be pretty.

I know... There are porbably some anatomy mistakes... and i didn't shade her hair. It's plain. And Not well done... The only excuse I have for any of those things is for the hair. shading the hair would make it too busy... yeahhh...

THIS IS MY FIRST CEL OEKAKI!! YAY!! actually my second if u count a doodle that turned out to be an experiment with cel shading...

And Corel Painter! (although Painter annoys me, lol) So many nice art apps.

Saying that, Photoshop CS3 in the right hands can work pretty much the same as any of them, it's just takes a while to set up right. And it's expensive.

This is purdy - i really like the strokes in his hair. ^^

I tried adding my normal words and such to this one...I couldn't find a decent place that worked. If you have a suggestion let me know. I was hoping to put something like "Wish on a star" or "wishing star" somewhere. I tried near her head and above the swirly skirt. D: Something different I guess...not as colorful than my stuff. More monochromatic or whatever you call it. XD *is in AP Portfolio and still doesn't know her art terms...how sad is that?*

All coloring is done with pencil tool and tones...nothing else. ;] I love solids...I tried watercolor on shi painter TWICE and ended up deleting both tries...maybe I'll do it again later.

Now I must go shower before Heroes comes on. .___.;; Haha...*is nutty*
