Ugh...it's supposed to be fiiiirrreee. T___T But it's bad...oh so bad... I didn't want to take it out though, cause it'd ruin the purpose of this picture.

I tried adding my normal words and such to this one...I couldn't find a decent place that worked. If you have a suggestion let me know. I was hoping to put something like "Wish on a star" or "wishing star" somewhere. I tried near her head and above the swirly skirt. D: Something different I guess...not as colorful than my stuff. More monochromatic or whatever you call it. XD *is in AP Portfolio and still doesn't know her art terms...how sad is that?*

All coloring is done with pencil tool and tones...nothing else. ;] I love solids...I tried watercolor on shi painter TWICE and ended up deleting both tries...maybe I'll do it again later.

Now I must go shower before Heroes comes on. .___.;; Haha...*is nutty*

FINALLY had some time for myself. Lately I've just been so busy that I never have time to draw on my own. I've been having to do GHP Interviews, finish AP Concentration pieces, tests for physics and algebra and much more. And since this week was so depressing and long I just had to take some time off and do something on oekaki...been a long time.

I got lazy and felt like not shading the clothes and bra...hahahaha...let's say it was for a PURPOSE! Bam!

Enjoy the boobage of my lady vampire. I might add fangs later...dunno.

Sorry for my lack of activity on here. School is being a pain in the butt. I have AP Studio, which is insane. So much art to do in that class. On top of that I have GHP (Governer's Honors Program) to do. It's a competition thing with my art. So it's insane in the membrane. Hopefully this makes up for it. With all that...I'm trying my best to have a life between working on art and working on homework.

A new character of mine! His name is Ramuek Reborial. Yes he IS a guy. Just a pretty guy, who cares about the way he looks. He isn't gay though, totally straight...just acts gay. Flamboyant per say. He is also a High Elf with a very high ego, self esteem, and pride. He thinks he's the best thing that's walked the planet. Haha. Don't rain on his parade, he'll kill you, quite literally. (He's not exactly a good guy.)

Anyways, OH MY GOD I TRIED SHI PAINTER! HOLY CRAPAMOLIE! XD Hahaha I strayed from my trustie BBS...yes...oh how I miss you so. But anyways, used the water color tool for coloring...so hopefully it turned out good in your eyes! I might edit it later to add in his gold highlights...we'll see what time gives me. x3

OH YES...the timer is off, not sure by how much though. I was watching the Greek marathon and working on a collage for AP Artssss inbetween...hahaha.

I really don't think it looks that unfinished - a style you might not normally use, yes.. but it looks good like this too TBH! i might add a tiny bit of shadow in the shoulder/neck area and maybe to the eyes, but that'd be experimental and to see if it improves it, which it might not at all. Maybe the hair would benefit from the same level of shading you've put on her skin too, its hard to tell..

I dunno what happened...I saftey saved the color version and it took off the public line art...:[ So sorry guys...

Decided to take on the weekly challenge and it was actually really fun! XD I had to look at a few photos of high angles, but I eventually got a post down I like.

Hehe he's got an ear-plug and faux-hawk. Oh yeaaah punk styled guy yea yea yea. Careful the guy bites. He has a big forehead because he's so sexy and smart. Big brains need big heads. So there. :[

Might take away the green shading of the shirt...dunno yet...and might add some graffiti in the background or something we'll see.

Edit: Added chains to his jeans and fixed a few minor things. Other than that, I think this is finished. x3

Nice job capturing the angle- it looks very natural. I like the simplicity of this piece, the lack of a background draws more focus on the guy and the details really show that way.

Something simple again! But this time bloody stylish...or something like it! I was watching "Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei" and the ending credits were this simple coloring style and it inspired me. That and I've always seen those neat pictures where they just use two colors. Here's my version I suppose. @___@ I wanted something bloody because of the RAGE I am feeling towards Kingdom Hearts and Maleficent right now. HAH.

Anyways, supposed to be my character, Hikaru. The back is facing us...or I tried to make it that way. I might add some things tomorrow. But since it's 3:20 right now I think I should try to sleep. D:

I gave up on a piece I was working on in photoshop for this. Hahaha...I had no inspiration for that one.

Edit: Tweaked a few MINOR things. Also...I beat Maleficent. But now I have to beat Riku ALONE! I got him so close to death it wasn't even freakin' funny. Like 1/10th of a life bar and he wouldn't give me time to heal and I DIED FIRST! WHATEVER! GOSH!

Edit: Think I fixed the thumb and the shoulder? But for some reason I can not figure out WHAT THE HECK is wrong with that nose. there is something wrong...but I can't figure out how to fix it. TT____TT It's making me insane.

I'm rather proud of this one. ;] Not to sound cocky or anything, but I like it...for once. My favorite is the smoke/background. Haha for some reason. I think it looks almost like a dragon's body or something! Dunno...ignore that comment. D:

Hm, might just be the angle of it, but I think the part at the shoulder/bicep looks a little off--- but like I said, it just might be the angle.

Then again, that angle is difficult to begin with e.e;.

I think the only other crit I have is that the thumb for the left hand looks a bit unnatural? Just, the placement of the joints seem too close together.

Other than that

Excellent picture, per-usual :D. It IS an awesome background, simple but it gets the job done (like a PBJ sandwich :D). Love. The hair.

Not my best...omg, totally not my best. I really don't like it all that much. But it was a boredom freer or whatever. Agh, I've been swallowed by the evil thing that is fan-art. :[ I am ashamed, truly I am, but I couldn't help myself.

Just finished reading the most recent TRC chapters...cause I lost track like a year ago. XD And oh my goodness, the manga turned DARK! Haha I thought it was insane! But it made me love it even more so.

Anyways, so I drew my favorite character Fye. He's always so emo...I've realized that while reading. Jeez he's emo. But I love him to death, always have, not just because what happened to him. Hah. He's always cracked me up. I just wish they'd make season 3 of the anime with these chapters in them, so much action and drama! Doubt it though...since it's much more dark than the other seasons. >>; Boo.

Crits are discouraged. NOT BECAUSE I THINK I'M ALL THAT. But because I was trying to imitate CLAMP's style...and so it's not my own, henceforth don't care for enhancing it...I care about my own style only. XD So don't take my discouragement the wrong way. I can probably point out all the problems right now...specially the nasty lines. D:

I'm glad you're not out to copy any styles, so many artists do it these days that they get lost in the background and lack originality. Hard to stand out when you try to blend in.

I think Saff just meant that the nose doesnt look like a Clamp nose, not that it was wrong.. So it didnt fall under "dont crit because its not my style - its clamps" - because it wasnt clamps. XD

Saying that, I like it this way nonetheless lol, I think i prefer 3D noses to stock manga noses!

I felt like killing myself for starting this darned thing. I thought it'd be all cool and stuff, but I had a shaky hand for some reason and I just got so upset and almost killed something. >>;;;

But anyways, I really really LOVE Alfons Mucha's work, which is in the Art Nouveau movement. His stuff is so stylish and pretty. It's really really pretty art, but I didn't do him justice. :[ I kinda threw my own style in there too I guess...specially with the background, cause I wouldn't put up with doing his intricate styled stuff. XD

Mucha was a total god! And.. you dont have to go back much but i do see two *tiny* things to tweak - two black bits in the hair outline, center canvas and some on the hairline/forehead.

We have a big Mucha mirror here in the living room. ^^ I love art nouveau.. Excellent choice.

Just a little tutorial on how I do my oekakis. It's a crappy example but I hope it helps somehow. I may do another one later depending on what you guys want to see...and I feel up to it. xD

You draw one handed I imagine? Draw your other hand. A lot. That's the best way to learn. :lol:

(make sure to draw what is there, and not what you think a hand should look like)

Otherwise, take photos of your hand posed, and paint from reference - it's the easiest way to make sure it comes out right.

Not spam when it kicks ass basically, the spamming rules are to stop people posting too fast without putting effort in really, which sets a bad example etc. This is nice though..

And really good style borrowing - Very nice use of non-straight colour ramps too, especially in the hair - i've actually been learning quite a lot from how you colour stuff as it's got me starting to experiment with ramps more.

Yea yea...so I was doodling in my sketchbook and this did...and I was like I wanna do an oekaki of it, well it looks better in my sketchbook! BUT NONETHELESS!

Corsets + Redheads + Crazy good tone work = ftw.

Only area of potential weirdness(i can see at least) is the forearm and thumb on our right.. But I'm not sure how to fix it - im craptactular with limbs, just trial and error until something reads properly. The other arm/hand by contrast is exceptional.

And yeah, I had so many problems with that hand. XD I'll probably go back and fix it tomorrow some time. Cause I know what you guys are talking about. Hahaha. Thanks for pointing it out.

Edit: Thought I might let everyone know my stupidity. I think I just now found out what ftw meant...at 2:30 in the morning due to my insomnia. HAH! I'm a loser.
